A Look into Mic Pa Mungu Agroecological Farm (MIMAF)

Mic Pa Mungu Agroecological Farm (MIMAF) is located in Nebbi municipal, Abindu ward, Omoyo lower village, just 8km from Nebbi Town on the Nebbi-Erussi road.

At MIMAF, we believe in working with nature, not against it. Our goal is to transform agriculture and food systems in a way that helps mitigate the effects of climate change and protects natural resources. We’re committed to embracing agroecology as a solution to climate challenges and building resilient communities.

Our farm aims to become a center of excellence for agroecology and natural resource management. We’re dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainable practices.

MIMAF operates as a registered community-based organization. Our vision is to be a leading force in promoting agroecology and natural resource management, while our mission is to foster resilient livelihoods and environmental stewardship through agroecology.

Our objectives include establishing a center of excellence, contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, encouraging youth and women to adopt agroecology, and providing opportunities for education and research visits.

We uphold core values such as caring for natural resources and humanity, advocating for climate justice, promoting transparency and accountability, fostering volunteerism, and ensuring equality.

Our offices are located at P.O Box 124, Nebbi, Omoyo Lower Village, Abindu Division, Nebbi Municipality, West Nile, Republic of Uganda. We’re open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
