Measuring approximately 24cm in diameter, this strainer features extendable arms that can stretch up to 38cm, ensuring a perfect fit for almost any size settling tank.
What sets our Double Honey Strainer apart is its innovative design, consisting of two separate strainers that can be easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. The top strainer boasts a mesh size of 1.5mm, efficiently capturing larger impurities such as wax and bees, while the bottom strainer, with a mesh size of 0.5mm, effectively sifts out smaller particles, leaving you with nothing but pure, golden honey.
Using our honey settling tank and double strainer is a breeze. Simply warm your honey in a warming cabinet, then strain it into the settling tank and let it rest for 24 hours. Once your honey has settled to perfection, open the honey gate to effortlessly dispense it into jars. Thanks to the rubber ‘o’ ring on the gate, you can trust that it forms a secure seal, preventing any messy leaks.
Please note that while the settling tank handle may be either plastic or metal, rest assured that both options are sturdy and reliable, ensuring easy transport and handling.
